The Objective of the Museum
To collect, preserve and interpret historical data, records and objects relating to the history of the Province of New Brunswick, and in particular that of York and Sunbury Counties.
Our Collection
The YSM Collection is almost entirely dependant on donations from the public. Over the years we have collected a variety of artefact and archival material pertaining almost entirely to Central New Brunswick though not exclusively.
We are always interested in acquiring new additions to our collection but we need the story that goes with it. If you think you may have something to donate to the YSM, please tell us about it by filling out the form below. Your potential donation will be discussed at our next Collections Committee meeting and we will advise you of the decision. It is likely that your donation will be accepted but if for some reason it is not we will tell you why and suggest a possible home for it.
